Vienna airport has a digitalised export validation system for connected stores, free of cost. 

Go to one of the designated DEV (Digital Export Validation) areas and carry out digital export validation using your own mobile device (connect to the DEV WiFi) or directly at one of the self-service kiosks.

If the store is not connected to the Vienna export validation system, you must go to a manual export validation desk (located in the DEV area). Costs are EUR 7 + you will need to bring a Tax-Free form.

Required for customs at Vienna airport:

• A Tax-Free form (from the store or your own)
• Purchase documents from the store
• Purchased items
• Passport (If you have an EU passport; other proof of residence outside the EU)
• Boarding pass
