What documents do I need for goods exported by air (DHL, FedEx, PostNL, etc)? /
If your goods were sent to you directly by the online shop, you do not need to get a customs stamp on your receipt (from a customs office at the airport). Instead we will need to receive 2 documents, mentioned below.
- 'Confirmation of Shipment'
The 'Confirmation of Shipment' is a notification sent to you by the store (most often by email) in which they let you know your goods have been shipped and in which provide your tracking number.
- 'Proof of Delivery' (POD)
You can find your POD in the app or website of your courier by using the tracking number sent to you by the online store.
After you have received your goods and these documents, you can register your receipt by following the steps described here.
