Where can I find a customs office when travelling by Eurostar from Amsterdam to the UK?
There is currently no option to get a customs stamp at Amsterdam Central train station. If you are traveling by Eurostar from Amsterdam to the UK, customs validation takes place at Brussels Midi/Zuid Station.
When traveling from Amsterdam to the UK via Eurostar, your train will stop at Brussels Midi/Zuid Station. At this stop:
Exit the train and follow the signs leading to the Eurostar Channel Terminal.
Head to the Channel Terminal, located under platforms 1 and 2.
At the Channel Terminal, you will go through ticket checks, security screening, and passport control before boarding your connecting Eurostar train to the UK.
The customs office can be found after passport and luggage checks. Be sure to stop here to have your receipts and tax-free forms stamped.
What do I need to bring to customs at Brussels Midi?
To ensure a smooth process, please bring the following items:
Your purchased goods for inspection.
Your purchase receipts.
Your tax-free forms.
Your passport.
Your Eurostar ticket as proof of departure to the UK.
What happens if I miss customs at Brussels Midi?
If you do not get your receipts and/or tax-free forms stamped by customs at Brussels Midi, we will not be able to process your VAT refund. It is essential that you present your goods, and obtain the required stamp before continuing your journey.
